Um.... I told you so!

Hello once again!!!!

Ok, before you rip into me...I have been nursing an injured hand and every time I thought it was getting better it would act up all over again...wonder why I didn't dream that? : )

Ok...so here's the deal. I am going to touch on a subject that may be a bit risky. But let me just say I do not in any way endorse either candidate. I'm just sharing another one of my dreams with you to show you how I operate. So....political comments will not be accepted. I also do not post negative comments. I really haven't gotten any but if I do get them I will not post them...if you don't like what I'm writing find a way to express your thoughts in a mature and adult manner or don't visit this blog anymore. And no love will be lost.

Now let me just add...I've wanted to post this particular blog for an extremely long time but I didn't know if I should because I didn't want people to read anything into it. But I enjoy sharing with you all so...here goes:

I keep a dream book...well actually...that's not true. I keep like three different dream books. I write my dreams in them and then work on interpreting them. Some of my dreams are literal. So no interpretation is needed.

I don't always write down my dreams. In fact, I sometimes get so lazy that I can go for months without writing in them. But when I do write in them I always write down the date. And when the dream is confirmed I come back and write the date of the confirmation and what happened.

So back in March 2008. To be exact it was March 3, 2008. I had a dream about a dark haired woman dressed conservatively... blazer and skirt. (She was angry/agitated/frustrated...I was picking up these emotions in the dream and may have misread them)She seemed some what young. (to be in the political arena on the same platform as Obama)I wrote that she was probably in her late 30's to mid forties or early fifties.(Because I am bad with telling some-one's age and I couldn't tell in the dream so that's what I wrote)They were about to shake hands but before she extended her hand...she spit in it first...almost like a challenge. She was trying to make a point. It wasn't a friendly gesture. He shook her hand but he was a bit hesitant. ( I don't know if that meant he was afraid or if he had to think carefully first...he just seemed to think twice) There were people on the side of the woman...powerful people(a few suits) and people on the side of Obama...powerful people.

Ok...(whew) Now at the time of the dream back in March...I had no clue who this woman was because the only woman who was going against Obama or challenging him rather...was Clinton and her hair can appear to be dark but in my eyes her hair is blond. The woman reminded me of Clinton with her feisty-ness but I knew it was not her. I know what Clinton looks like and it was not her. So I was wondering who is this woman??!! What does she have to do with Obama? Where is she? I've never seen anyone like that on the scene. Just Clinton. So who and where was this woman that I'd dreamed about???

Honestly I dismissed it and totally forgot that I had dreamed about it and wrote it down. I dream about people in politics or positions of power all the time. Sometimes I get the meaning...sometimes I don't.

And then....McCain announced his running mate.... Believe what you want. I'm not really into politics but my husband is and he was watching it on tv and I just happened to step out of my room and...from the moment I stepped in the living room and saw her on screen.... my exact words were..."There you are."

Now once again...I am not into politics and trust me I don't want to hear about McCain or Obama or Palin because I hear enough of it on tv. My husband is a junkie when it comes to that stuff and the funny thing is...we're both in the middle of the road when it comes to politics we don't endorse either side. I just wanted to let you know I knew she was coming...probably before she did.

THIS is why I call myself the RELUCTANT DREAMER! I have come to embrace these weird dreams. I've had them since I was a child so I could care less if I'm believed or not. But in all honesty...I'd rather not dream about politics period!

After realizing who she was...it was like getting "owned" by my dreams. It was like they were saying..."I told you so" lol...

So you see people can get all scientific on me...I don't care. I am highly intelligent and because I've had these dreams all my life I have done research and I know the difference between the kind of dreaming that occurs regularly and MY dreams. I have regular dreams like everyone else but I also have the kind that come back around and say " I told you so"


P.S. Here's what bugs me...why? Why dream it...I mean what was the purpose? Now that's what always boggles the mind...and uh...I don't know the answer to that : )
